MTV Latino used to be the coolest thing ever, now we've got MTV Tr3s to satisfy our "music television"craving --although it's mostly full with bad (yet addictive) TV shows-- but nothing compares to the goodness of MTVLA. Hence why we like to cover the MTVLA Music Awards. This year, Colombian pop-rocker Juanes (pictured) is nominated in SEVEN categories, so he could be the big winner of the night!
Also, in the past few years the show's been trying to anglo-fy itself so we'll get to see a promising performance by rock gods Metallica. And our favorite Mexican singer-songwriter of the moment, Ximena Sariñana, is nominated in FOUR categories.
Tune in Thursday night and check out our online coverage right here.

This November 30, MTV will premiere a new documentary on Britney Spears, the fallen pop princess. The actual doc is produced by her manager Larry Rudolph. So, how many answers will we actually get from this documentary? If Britney's own camp produced it... Smells like marketing scheme to us.
