Unusual BFFs: Perez Hilton & Jewel

The Queen of All Media, Perez Hilton, posted a video chat he had with Jewel on his popular blog yesterday.

We were really surprised to know these two characters were buddies! The lil' video comes right in time to promote Jewel's new country record, Perfectly Clear. However, the convo did seem genuine, and not like a forced publicity stunt. Jewel talked to Perez about random things like life on the ranch to the state of music (she's happy about country's booming scene). But the best part of it all was when the singer said, "people would be so shocked to know how you are in person, versus who you are online." Perez shrieked, "Don't tell them!!!"
